JOB SUMMARY
The Management Trainee Banking Officer Programme is designed to develop high-potential graduates into well-rounded banking professionals through structured training, mentorship, and practical exposure.
Successful candidates will gain experience across retail banking, branch operations, customer service, sales, relationship management, credit, compliance, and business development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in classroom and on-the-job training.
- Gain practical knowledge of branch banking operations and procedures.
- Support account opening, customer onboarding, and documentation.
- Assist customers with banking products, services, and account enquiries.
- Support customer acquisition and relationship management.
- Generate leads and promote appropriate banking products and services.
- Assist with deposit mobilization, cross-selling, and business development.
- Support accurate customer and transaction record keeping.
- Assist with banking transactions in line with approved procedures.
- Apply banking policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support KYC, AML, risk management, and internal control procedures.
- Conduct customer follow-ups and support customer retention.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in branch sales campaigns and customer engagement activities.
- Work with different departments to achieve organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
