ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

On the Move is recruiting eight independent researchers based in Africa to contribute to a research project mapping cultural mobility funding opportunities across the continent.

The project will focus on funding opportunities available to artists and cultural professionals travelling to and from all 54 African countries.

The research will contribute to the Cultural Mobility Funding Guide, providing useful information on available funding opportunities and helping artists and cultural professionals identify resources that can support international and regional mobility.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

Selected researchers will undertake research into cultural mobility funding opportunities relevant to African countries.

The assignment will contribute to a broader effort to improve access to information about funding and financial support for artists and cultural professionals who need to travel for cultural and creative activities.

Researchers will work independently and remotely during the assignment period.

The call is intended for Africa-based independent researchers with an interest or experience relevant to cultural mobility, arts, culture, creative industries, research, funding opportunities or related areas.
