QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACADEMIC POSITIONS
SENIOR LECTURER AHUASS 05
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputable university and provide evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local, national and international journals, with relevant professional registration where applicable.
Applicants should also have at least 3 years of full-time university teaching, research and administrative experience.
For positions in the Departments of Human Physiology and Medical Biochemistry, MBBS is required.
LECTURER I AHUASS 04
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputable university, with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and relevant professional registration where applicable.
LECTURER II AHUASS 03
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field or a Master’s degree with at least 4 relevant publications.
ASSISTANT LECTURER AHUASS 02
Applicants should possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
NON-ACADEMIC POSITIONS
- TECHNOLOGIST II AHUSS 07
Candidates must possess an O’Level certificate with a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- SYSTEM ANALYST II AHUSS 01
Candidates must possess an O’Level certificate with a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus a relevant B.Sc. qualification.

- CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR AHUSS 09
Candidates must possess an O’Level certificate with a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus a BNSc. in Nursing Science.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Computer literacy is required for all positions.
NYSC discharge certificate or certificate of exemption is mandatory where applicable.
