Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for state-based roles under the GHSD Nigeria Sole Source Project.

The project is focused on strengthening malaria prevention, case management, surveillance, data use, supply systems, community engagement, and government capacity across five implementing states, with project headquarters in Abuja.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The GHSD Nigeria Sole Source Project aims to strengthen high-impact malaria interventions and improve the capacity of health systems and frontline workers across the implementing states.

The successful candidates will contribute to the delivery of quality malaria programmes, strengthen government systems, improve data-driven decision-making, and support sustainable government ownership of key programme functions.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  1. MALARIA SERVICE DELIVERY

Strengthening quality malaria case management, prevention, integrated services, clinical mentorship, supportive supervision, and effective referral systems.

  1. MALARIA SURVEILLANCE AND DATA USE

Improving data quality, reporting systems, analytics, dashboards, and evidence-based programme decision-making.

  1. CONTINUITY OF HIGH-IMPACT INTERVENTIONS

Supporting effective coordination across service delivery, commodities, diagnostics, community engagement, and other malaria programme functions.

  1. GOVERNMENT OWNERSHIP AND SUSTAINABILITY

Strengthening institutional capacity, domestic financing, transition planning, and integration of malaria functions into government systems.

The recruitment is suitable for professionals with relevant qualifications, technical expertise, and practical experience in malaria programming, health systems strengthening, data management, sustainability, SBCC, logistics, supply chain management, or related areas.
