The Center for Humanitarian Impact and Development (C-HID) is recruiting qualified candidates to fill the positions of Admin Assistant and CFM Assistant in Gujba, Yobe State.
C-HID is a humanitarian and development organization focused on empowering communities, strengthening resilience, and improving the well-being of vulnerable and underserved populations. Its areas of intervention include WASH, Food Security and Livelihoods, Health and Nutrition, Protection, Education, Climate Action, Renewable Energy, environmental restoration, and community development.
1. Admin Assistant
Job Title: Admin Assistant
Location: Gujba, Yobe State

Key Responsibilities
The Admin Assistant will:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to project and field teams.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, records, correspondence, and administrative documents.
- Support meetings, workshops, trainings, and programme activities.
- Assist with logistics, office management, and administrative processes.
- Support the documentation of attendance, movement, supplies, and other administrative records.
Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant administrative qualifications and experience.
- Good communication, interpersonal, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability, inclusion, and respect for affected communities.
- Ability and willingness to work in challenging field environments.
- Integrity and professionalism, with compliance with safeguarding, PSEA, anti-fraud, anti-corruption, and C-HID policies.
- Knowledge of Gujba and/or Buni Yadi will be an advantage.
2. CFM Assistant
Job Title: CFM Assistant
Location: Gujba, Yobe State
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
The CFM Assistant will support the implementation of the Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) by:
- Receiving, documenting, categorizing, and following up on complaints, feedback, questions, and requests.
- Providing accurate information about programme activities, eligibility criteria, entitlements, and available services.
- Handling sensitive complaints confidentially and referring them through appropriate channels.
- Maintaining accurate CFM records and supporting timely reporting.
- Supporting community sensitization on available feedback and reporting channels.
Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience in community engagement, CFM, accountability, protection, or humanitarian programming will be desirable.
- Good communication, interpersonal, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability, inclusion, and respect for affected communities.
- Ability and willingness to work in challenging field environments.
- Integrity and professionalism, including compliance with safeguarding, PSEA, anti-fraud, and anti-corruption requirements.
- Knowledge of Gujba and/or Buni Yadi will be an advantage.
