Role Overview
The Maintenance Officer & Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems within the organization. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain high safety and operational standards in line with industry practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment and facilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards
- Support preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or BSc in Engineering or a related discipline
- At least four (4) years of relevant experience in maintenance within the Oil and Gas industry
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
