Job Summary
The Medical Activity Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality of medical services in the project site. The role involves supervising medical teams, ensuring high standards of patient care, coordinating medical activities, supporting outbreak response, managing referrals, and working closely with government health authorities and partners to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The Medical Activity Manager will monitor quality of care indicators to ensure patient centred care and review maternal, neonatal, and critical cases.
The role includes coordinating and supervising emergency obstetric and newborn care, VVF services, sexual violence response, family planning, outpatient services, and inpatient care in line with organisational standards.
The Medical Activity Manager will support the development and review of clinical procedures such as triage criteria, referral systems, intensive care unit processes, newborn unit procedures, delivery room guidelines, and admission and discharge criteria.
The role involves supporting patient referrals to external health facilities and monitoring outcomes and financial coverage for each case.
The Medical Activity Manager will support medical supply orders, stock monitoring, and consumption tracking for drugs, consumables, and equipment.
The role includes supporting agreements with external consultants such as surgeons and anaesthetists and collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
The Medical Activity Manager will supervise blood bank and laboratory activities including stock management and equipment monitoring.
The role involves coordinating daily work plans of doctors, obstetricians, surgeons, anaesthetists, blood bank supervisors, and laboratory staff.
The Medical Activity Manager will oversee staff health activities including consultations, referrals, and immunisations.
The role includes verification and processing of financial documents related to patient and staff referrals.
The Medical Activity Manager will coordinate with disease surveillance officers and state health authorities on outbreak prone diseases.
The role includes participation in outbreak investigations, reporting, planning, and coordination of response activities.
The Medical Activity Manager will collaborate with outreach teams to improve service quality based on community feedback and patient satisfaction surveys.

Qualifications
