Job Summary

PATH is recruiting five (5) Field Officers to support a project aimed at improving Routine Immunization (RI) coverage in Kebbi State through the deployment of Mobile Immunization Teams (MITs) across 16 Local Government Areas.

The Field Officers will report to the RI Senior Field Officer and provide training, supervision, and operational support to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities within an assigned LGA
  • Serve as the primary liaison with LGA immunization teams and health facility staff
  • Train and mentor Mobile Immunization Teams (MITs)
  • Develop and implement supportive supervision schedules
  • Conduct field supervision and ensure accurate reporting using national tools
  • Support health facilities in microplanning, outreach, and tracking missed children
  • Strengthen collaboration between health workers, communities, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate data validation and use of data for decision-making
  • Prepare weekly and monthly field reports
  • Monitor vaccine stock levels and support replenishment efforts
  • Document immunization refusals and mitigation strategies
  • Support community engagement to address vaccine hesitancy
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in health service delivery
  • Experience in immunization programs is preferred
  • Strong ability to work with health facility staff and local stakeholders
  • Experience in supervision, mentoring, and field coordination
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel within Kebbi State
