MSF is recruiting a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations and ensure proper maintenance of its equipment, facilities and infrastructure in line with organisational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise logistics staff, drivers and security guards, including assigning duties and preparing work schedules.
• Monitor maintenance of buildings, facilities, equipment and non-medical stocks.
• Manage vehicle fleet maintenance, fuel records, movement schedules and vehicle documentation.
• Coordinate staff movements and flight arrangements.
• Supervise procurement, local purchases, stock management and receipt of supplies.
• Oversee repairs, rehabilitation and construction works at offices, guest houses and field locations.
• Ensure compliance with MSF safety, security and logistics procedures.
• Monitor generators, electricity, water and gas consumption.
• Support ICT-related issues and coordinate with the ICT team.
• Prepare and submit monthly logistics reports.
• Provide logistics support during emergencies, disease outbreaks and humanitarian field interventions.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Secondary school education.
• Formal technical training is essential.

Experience:

• At least one year of experience with MSF; OR
• At least two years of experience in a similar position outside MSF.

Languages:

• English: Professional working proficiency required.
• Hausa and/or Fulfulde: Working knowledge is an advantage.

• Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and internet applications.
