Job Purpose

The HR/Admin Officer will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our office operations. You will act as a bridge between management and employees while maintaining the organizational structures that drive our success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resources Management:

•  Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the hiring process, including posting vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting orientation for new hires.

•  Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, grievances, and suggestions to maintain a healthy work environment.

•  Performance Management: Coordinate annual performance reviews and assist department heads in setting and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

•  Payroll & Benefits: Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absenteeism, leaves, etc.) and managing employee insurance and benefit schemes.

•  Policy Compliance: Ensure company policies are updated and compliant with Nigerian Labor Laws and internal standards.

2. Office Administration:

•  Facilities Management: Oversee office maintenance, utilities, and the procurement of office supplies and consumables.

•  Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and confidential employee records (both digital and physical) and manage general company filing systems.

•  Logistics Coordination: Manage travel arrangements, vehicle scheduling, and coordinate with external vendors and service providers.

•  Health & Safety: Ensure the office environment meets safety standards and manage administrative tasks related to workplace security.

Required Qualifications and Skills

•  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related social science field.

•  Certification: Membership in professional bodies such as CIPM, PHRi, or SHRM is a significant advantage.

•  Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in a dual HR and Administrative role.

•  Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using HRIS or Payroll software.

•  Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with high integrity.

•  Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask under pressure in a dynamic environment.
