QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
ASSISTANT LECTURER
- Research-based Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline.
- At least 1 year of full-time post-qualification experience.
- Must have a Master’s qualification that qualifies for PhD admission and be registered for a PhD in a reputable university.
LECTURER II
- PhD in the relevant discipline from a reputable university.
- Relevant full-time university teaching and research experience.
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals.
LECTURER I
- PhD in the relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant full-time university teaching and research experience.
- Minimum of 8 scholarly publications in reputable journals.
SENIOR LECTURER
- PhD in the relevant discipline.
- At least 6 years of relevant full-time teaching and research experience.
- Minimum of 15 scholarly publications.
- Evidence of academic leadership and administrative experience.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- PhD in the relevant discipline.
- At least 9 years of relevant full-time teaching and research experience.
- Minimum of 20 scholarly publications.
- Evidence of academic leadership, postgraduate student supervision and administrative experience.
PROFESSOR
- PhD with specialisation in the relevant discipline.
- At least 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Minimum of 25 scholarly publications.
- Evidence of academic leadership, postgraduate supervision and research grant acquisition.
- Relevant teaching, research and administrative experience.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER I (LEGAL)
- Five O’Level credits, including English Language and Literature.
- LL.B degree.
- Evidence of Call to Bar.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
SENIOR ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
- Five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Relevant degree with at least Second Class Lower Division.
- NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate.
- 9 years of post-qualification experience with a degree, or 6 years with a Master’s Degree in a recognised university.
NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR II
- Good honours degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Informatics or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of web design packages is an advantage.
SYSTEM PROGRAMMER I
- Good honours degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Informatics or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a university or comparable institution.
- Proficiency in high-performance programming languages and knowledge of low-level hardware and operating systems are advantages.
