GBV Case worker at Novel Alliance for Development Aid _NADA
The Case worker will support the protection activities and ensure functionality of the case management.
The Case worker will be providing a range of case management and other support services within the child protection sub-sector to enhance the children’s and caregivers’ mental health through the case management program in Novel Alliance for Development Aid (NADA) response locations.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
- The case worker will be expected to mentor and or build the capacity of PSS facilitators/community volunteers on identification of cases in the field.
- Responsible for the prompt submission of reports to the Child Protection Officer.
- Ensure regular follow-ups of all registered cases for proper response.
- The Case worker will ensure case management is conducted with quality to improve the vulnerable Status of children and their families affected by the conflict in Northwest Nigeria.
- Identify gaps in service provision to vulnerable children, women, and girls, proactively refer and advocate for those gaps in coordination with the child protection Officer and NADA team.
