POSITION ONE

FINANCE CONTROLLER

JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Controller will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, compliance and financial planning across the group, safeguarding company assets while enabling strategic decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee financial reporting, internal controls and regulatory compliance

Safeguard company assets while enabling strategic decision making

Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across the group

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements

Manage cash flow, treasury operations and capital expenditure controls

Provide strategic financial insights to executive management and the board

Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators

Strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures across subsidiaries

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies or MBA

Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred

Five to seven years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong technical accounting knowledge including accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory accounts preparation

Experience producing multi million budgets and supporting annual audits

Strong analytical ability and advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

Proficiency in SAGE, Word and PowerPoint

Strong background in inventory management, standard costing and manufacturing processing environments

VP PARTNERSHIP AND SUSTAINABILITY

JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President, Partnership and Sustainability will lead Arzikin Noma Africa’s strategic alliance ecosystem and sustainability agenda across the value chain, ensuring long term environmental stewardship, community impact and collaborative growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnerships

Develop and manage partnerships with governments, NGOs, impact investors, agribusinesses and international development agencies

Negotiate MOUs and agreements for joint ventures, funding and resource sharing initiatives

Represent the company at global and national forums to attract collaborators and influence policy

Sustainability Strategy

Lead sustainability strategy aligned with climate goals, regenerative agriculture practices and certification standards

Set measurable KPIs for carbon reduction, water usage, soil health, waste management and biodiversity

Oversee sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures and compliance with international standards

Community and Smallholder Farmer Engagement

Design programs supporting smallholder farmers with training, market access, credit and inputs

Monitor social impact including livelihood improvement, gender equity and youth inclusion

Partner with local communities to embed inclusive governance and land stewardship practices

Team Leadership and Culture

Lead cross functional teams in sustainability communications, partnership management and impact assessment

Foster a culture of teamwork, fairness, service excellence and continuous improvement

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of seven years experience in partnerships, sustainability or corporate affairs

Experience in agriculture, FMCG or development sectors preferred

Master’s degree in Agriculture, Business, International Development or a related field

Strong experience with ESG frameworks and impact measurement

The Vice President, Commercial and Business Expansion will drive growth and profitability through strategic partnerships, capital raising, new client acquisition and innovative market penetration. The role will lead commercial strategy and execution across local and export markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnerships and Collaboration

Engage public sector institutions including NALDA, BOA, BOI, CBN and FMARD

Collaborate with private sector and technology partners for client acquisition, data management and monitoring

Engage development finance institutions and grant providers

Commercial Strategy

Define go to market strategies for local and export business units

Segment markets including retail, institutional, processors and international buyers

Develop pricing strategies, discount structures and revenue targets

Export Development

Identify priority markets across West and Central Africa

Manage export compliance, documentation, certifications and logistics partners

Build relationships with international distributors, brokers and buyers

Local Trading and Distribution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Innovation Strategy

Define an innovation roadmap for sustainable intensification, yield improvement and climate smart agriculture

Identify high impact technologies including precision farming tools, data analytics, AI, blockchain traceability and IoT solutions

Evaluate emerging trends in biotechnology, soil health, renewable energy and farm systems

Technology Implementation

Oversee digital transformation initiatives including ERP systems, supply chain traceability and farmer mobile applications

Champion digital tools that improve farmer engagement, productivity and access to services

Integrate fintech and digital banking solutions supporting payments, credit, savings and insurance for smallholder farmers

Collaborate with technology partners, startups, research centers and universities to pilot new solutions

Research and Product Development

Lead R and D initiatives across seed varieties, bio inputs, sustainable packaging and value added products

Ensure strong integration between R and D, operations and commercial teams

Innovation Culture and Talent

Build and lead multidisciplinary innovation teams
