Senior Consultancy for the Africa CDC’s Partnership and Resource Mobilisation Strategy in Ethiopia

Tasks to be performed by the contractor
The contractor is responsible for providing the following services:
Work package 1: Revision of the Partnership and Resource Mobilisation Strategy
- Reviewing the draft strategy and key documents (Africa CDC Strategic Plan 2023-2027 & New Public Health Order for Africa)
- Benchmarking against Partnership Strategies of similar public health organisations (e.g., US CDC, ECDC)
- Gathering stakeholder feedback through interviews with key Africa CDC personnel.
- Developing a revised strategy outline based on feedback and presenting it for approval
- Finalising the draft strategy with refined resource mobilisation options and mechanisms
- Providing technical launch support (concept note, presentation development)
Work package 2: Strategic advisory services on Partnership Management and Resource Mobilisation
- Offer ongoing support and strategic advisory services to Africa CDC as they implement the Partnership and Resource Mobilisation Strategy
- Review the implementation of the Partnership and Resource Mobilisation Strategy and provide recommendations for improved partnership management and resource mobilisation
- Assess Africa CDC’s capacity to effectively engage partners and recommend strategies for capacity building
- Provide support to Africa CDC’s annual Partnership Forum
