During this cycle they will do a few different things. They challenge you to join this unique experience, to tell stories that need to be made visible and to explore various formats.

Program Details

Phase One

Participants will immerse themselves in an interesting live conversation (approximately 60 minutes) about the energy transition and climate change in their countries. They will be accompanied by local leaders, as well as former fellows from the mentoring program, who will share key advice on how to address these issues.

These are the dates of the conversations:

  • Argentina : Monday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. (local time)
  • Mexico : Wednesday, May 15 at 3:00 p.m. (local time)
  • Brazil : Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. (local time).

At the end of each live conversation, participants will be challenged to send a journalistic story pitch to develop during the mentoring program. The Climate Tracker team will select two proposals per country, to form an outstanding team of six journalists in Argentina, Mexico and Brazil.

Phase Two

The six selected journalists will immerse themselves in an exciting collective and hands-on learning experience between the months of June and August 2024. During this time, they will benefit from the following:
