Job Title: Data Enumerator (Outlet Survey)
Locations: Edo, Gombe, Kano, Kogi, Imo and Osun
Employment Type: Short Term Contract (12 Days)
Duration: September – October 2024
Activity: ACT Market Survey on the Private Sector Market Analysis (PSMA)
Slot: 25 Openings: Imo (4), Osun (4), Gombe (3), Kogi (3), Kano (8), and Edo (3).
Purpose of Assignment
- We are recruiting a Data Enumerator (Outlet Survey) on the Private Sector Market Analysis (PSMA) project
- Engage data enumerators that will conduct data collection using quantitative data collection tools (Questionnaires and Observational Checklists) across 6 states on the PSMA project.
- Conduct and submit a minimum of 3 electronic responses per person daily for 12 days of the survey.
- The data enumerators will elicit information from PPMVs, Pharmacists (outlet Survey) in their selected state of resident.
Scope of Work
- Identify eligible respondents and participate in the quantitative data collection (Outlet surveys) using Kobocollect data collection platform (already scripted into an android device).
- Support in qualitative data collection from PPMVs, pharmacist and key stakeholders as part of the private sector market analysis survey on antimalarial commodities in the Nigerian market.
- Review of data for accuracy and completeness before uploading on the Kobo collect database.
- Submission of signed timesheets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health or any medical related field with at least 5 years’ experience.
- Strong evidence of prior participation in similar public health research, field activities and data collection activities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office package with good report writing skills.
- Residency within the project implementation state and availability for the duration of the PSMA survey exercise.
- Ability to clearly synthesize and present findings, draw practical conclusions, make recommendations and to prepare well-written reports in a timely manner
- Experience in leading evaluations, surveys, and analysis is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated report writing skills for quantitative survey
- Candidate must not be a current employee of any government ministry or agency as at the time of recruitment.
- Familiarity with the use of android devices for data collection.
- Working knowledge of the local language of the state, residency within the state and proficiency in spoken and written English Language.
- Excellent time management, organizational and report writing skills.
