Job Title: Research Assistant

Project Overview: The research project will focus on the intricate dynamics of politics
and development in Northern Nigeria. The research aims to explore historical, social,
and political factors influencing the region’s development trajectory. The findings will
contribute to a comprehensive book that offers new insights into Northern Nigeria’s
political landscape.
Position Overview: As a Research Assistant, you will be a key player in the project’s
research and book writing process. Your strong academic background in Political
Science or Sociology and your experience in literature reviews, interviews, and desk
research will be invaluable to the project. You will work closely with the lead researcher
to gather, analyze, and synthesis data, providing essential support for the project and
final book development.
