ABOUT DATARAFLOW

DataraFlow is an Africa-focused, accountability-driven talent accelerator that runs a free, intensive six-month programme in Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI for African professionals.

The programme is built around structured daily milestones, weekly deliverables and an accountability system designed to help participants complete the programme and demonstrate what they can achieve.

ABOUT THE ROLE

DataraFlow is looking for a Program Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of its six-month Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI talent accelerator.

This is an ownership-driven role. The successful candidate will serve as the operational backbone between participants, mentors and leadership, ensuring the cohort progresses effectively from onboarding through graduation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own the cohort calendar, milestones and weekly deliverable cycle.
2. Track participant progress and apply programme policies consistently and fairly.
3. Run orientation, weekly sessions and programme checkpoints.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for participants.
5. Monitor participant engagement and identify potential disengagement or dropout risks early.
6. Support participant retention and graduation outcomes.
7. Recruit, onboard and coordinate mentors.
8. Facilitate mentor-participant matching and follow-through.
9. Administer Discord, publication sites, learning platforms and programme systems.
10. Maintain programme documentation and participant records.
11. Prepare and communicate cohort health, progress and risk reports to leadership.
12. Identify operational problems early, propose solutions and ensure timely resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in programme management, community management, operations or a comparable role.
2. Demonstrated experience running a programme or cohort from start to finish.
3. Strong written communication skills.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with participants on a daily basis.
5. Experience using Discord, Zoho or similar platforms, learning platforms or portals and spreadsheets.
6. Strong planning, organization and execution skills.
7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within assigned responsibilities.
8. Reliable internet connection.
9. Availability across the cohort schedule in West Africa Time.
10. Genuine interest in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence education and African talent development.

2. Familiarity with Data Science or AI fundamentals.
3. Experience managing volunteer or mentor networks.
