Following the successful establishment and onboarding of our operations in Sokoto State, WIPS is now embarking on a strategic expansion phase. To ensure our programs achieve deep grassroots impact, we are seeking committed and energetic individuals to join us as Volunteer Programme Facilitators. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the socio-economic advancement of Sokoto State while enhancing your own professional profile.
The Role of a Volunteer Facilitator
As a volunteer with WIPS, you will serve as a vital link between our organization and the local communities across all Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs). Your responsibilities will include:
• Programme & Event Coordination: Assisting in the logistical planning and execution of training sessions, workshops, and innovation summits.
• Strategic Outreach & Mobilization: Driving awareness and community engagement to ensure high levels of participation from target demographics.
• Participant Support: Acting as a mentor and guide for program participants, ensuring they have a seamless learning experience.
• Documentation & Reporting: Collecting field data, managing participant records, and preparing comprehensive reports on program outcomes.
• Digital Integration: Supporting the delivery of virtual and hybrid training sessions through ICT support and digital platform management.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education, ICT, and entrepreneurship. This call is open to:
• Recent graduates and final-year students from recognized tertiary institutions.
• Currently serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members looking for impactful community service projects.
