ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Big Smile Foundation invites qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position of Project Coordinator in Borno State.
This opportunity is suitable for experienced professionals passionate about humanitarian work, community development and effective project implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING
Coordinate day-to-day programme activities.
Ensure project milestones, timelines and deliverables are achieved in accordance with approved work plans.
Monitor project progress and support the effective implementation of planned activities.
- STAKEHOLDER AND FIELD COORDINATION
Serve as the primary focal point for field teams, partners, community leaders and relevant government or sectoral stakeholders.
Support collaboration and coordination among project stakeholders.
- REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION
Prepare and consolidate weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports.
Develop donor progress summaries and case studies.
Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
- TEAM AND WORKPLAN SUPERVISION
Supervise field officers and project assistants.
Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance.
Ensure project activities align with organisational guidelines and approved work plans.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of demonstrated experience in project coordination, grant implementation or programme support.
Experience in donor engagement and stakeholder coordination.
Experience in the humanitarian or nonprofit sector is an advantage.
