Job Title: Program Officer (Governance)

Job Summary
- The Program Officer for Governance will design, implement, and monitor governance-focused programs aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and citizen participation, while supporting initiatives through targeted resource mobilization and collaborative efforts.
Job Responsibiities
- Secure funding opportunities for governance and civic engagement projects, such as anti-corruption and public accountability initiatives.
- Design proposals and secure donor commitments.
- Support the implementation of governance programs by ensuring mobilized resources align with project needs.
- Develop and nurture relationships with governance donors and other stakeholders.
- Advocate for governance reforms through partnership-building efforts.
- Design and develop project proposals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Law, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in governance-related resource mobilization.
- Proven Experience in Multi-Donor Management
- Strong Analytical and Research Skills
- Proficiency in Donor Management Systems and Tools
- Proficiency in relevant computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and statistical analysis software.
