Role Description
The Program Coordinator will oversee day to day programme management activities and support the effective implementation of the organisation’s initiatives. The role involves drafting sponsorship proposals, coordinating sponsorship efforts, and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also support mentorship and training projects, contribute to beneficiary recruitment, and ensure smooth delivery of program activities in line with organisational goals among many other tasks.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes developing and managing community based programmes and projects.
The Program Coordinator will coordinate sponsorship activities and maintain communication with sponsors and key stakeholders.
The role involves supporting mentorship, training, and empowerment initiatives.
The candidate will assist in identifying and recruiting programme beneficiaries.
The role requires contributing to planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of programme activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have strong programme management and programme development skills to design, implement, and oversee impactful initiatives.
Strong project management skills are required to plan, execute, and monitor programme activities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging sponsors, partners, and community members.
Candidates must be adaptable, well organised, self motivated, and able to work independently.
Previous experience working with nonprofit or community based organisations is an added advantage.
A strong passion for women’s empowerment and social change is essential for this role.
