Position: Nursing Team Supervisor
Location: Maiduguri, Borno State
Contract: Fixed term with possibility of extension
Role Summary
The Nursing Team Supervisor will plan, coordinate and supervise nursing activities to ensure quality patient care in line with organizational protocols and health standards needed for health jobs at MSF.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing teams to deliver quality care
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, hygiene and infection prevention standards
Coordinate duty rosters, leave schedules and staff coverage
Support training, coaching and performance management of nursing staff
Oversee basic pharmacy, medical equipment and stock management at unit level
Ensure proper documentation, reporting and handover between shifts
Support patient safety, dignity and confidentiality
Participate in coordination, reporting and team meetings
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery with valid practicing license
Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Experience with NGOs or humanitarian settings is an advantage. Moreover, those interested in health jobs at MSF should highlight relevant background.
Ability to work in a challenging field environment
Local language required and mission language desirable
