Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care in line with MSF protocols and medical prescriptions
- Ensure infection prevention and control standards are strictly followed
- Assist during consultations, ward rounds, emergency care and triage
- Monitor patients’ conditions and report any deterioration
- Support admission, referral, and follow-up of patients
- Participate in health education for patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate patient records, registers, and reports
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies
- Support pharmacy stock control and medical equipment inventory
- Participate in data collection and handover between shifts
- Supervise and support nurse aides and other assigned staff
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
Minimum Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Nursing Science or Diploma in Nursing
Valid license to practice
Experience
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience with MSF, an NGO, INGO, or private health facility
Experience supervising and training team members
Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of infection prevention and control
Basic knowledge of malnutrition management protocols
Strong teamwork, flexibility, and stress management skills
Language
English required
Hausa is an advantage
