Key Responsibilities
- Drive MSF vehicles safely for the transport of staff and authorized goods
- Ensure daily and weekly vehicle checks, cleanliness, and proper maintenance records
- Observe traffic laws and MSF security and safety protocols
- Ensure all vehicle documents and driver’s license are valid and available
- Accurately record movements, mileage, fuel use, and maintenance in logbooks
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods with correct documentation
- Communicate movements and incidents to the line manager and base
- Support emergency and outreach movements as assigned
- Ensure IPC-compliant cleaning of ambulances and referral vehicles
- Report any vehicle faults or incidents promptly
Minimum Requirements
Education
Basic literacy
Valid driver’s license
Experience
Minimum of 2 years driving experience
Experience driving 4×4 vehicles, vans, or trucks is an advantage
Previous experience with NGOs or MSF is an advantage
Language
English required
Hausa, Fulani or Suru is an advantage
