The International Rescue Committee IRC is recruiting qualified candidates for the following positions in Borno State Nigeria:
- Protection Case Worker
Location Monguno
Responsible for delivering protection services supporting vulnerable individuals and ensuring proper case management documentation and referrals within communities. The role also involves working closely with community structures to identify protection concerns and provide timely interventions. - Cash Program Officer
Location Maiduguri
Responsible for planning implementing and monitoring cash assistance programs. The officer will ensure effective delivery of cash support to beneficiaries while maintaining accountability transparency and compliance with program guidelines to improve livelihoods. - Nutrition Child Protection Assistant
Location Monguno
Supports integrated nutrition and child protection activities ensuring improved outcomes for children. The role includes working in health facilities and communities to promote child wellbeing and link vulnerable children to appropriate services.
All positions are full time roles under IRC humanitarian programs focusing on protection nutrition and community support. Candidates are expected to work in challenging environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful interventions.
Applicants must possess a degree or HND in a related discipline with relevant experience in humanitarian or development work. Strong communication skills teamwork and the ability to work under pressure are important requirements. Knowledge of local context and languages will be an added advantage.
