Médecins du Monde (MdM), an international humanitarian organization providing medical care to vulnerable populations, is recruiting a Midwife for its operations in Zango LGA, Katsina State.
The Midwife will work under the supervision of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Officer to deliver quality care in mobile clinics. Key responsibilities include providing free reproductive health consultations such as antenatal, postnatal, and family planning services, as well as managing reproductive health emergencies in line with MdM protocols. The role also involves conducting health education sessions on topics like immunization, breastfeeding, and safe delivery practices.
Additionally, the Midwife will support data collection and analysis of reproductive health indicators, prepare weekly reports, and actively participate in team meetings and trainings. Ensuring patient confidentiality, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to the smooth operation of mobile clinics are essential aspects of the role.
Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and are encouraged to reside in Daura LGA, close to the project location.
