Job Purpose
The Case Worker Team Leader will supervise and support a team of Case Workers, ensuring high-quality case management services. The role involves coaching staff, managing complex protection cases, and ensuring compliance with humanitarian standards and protection principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and coach Case Workers in case management processes
- Conduct case conferences and escalate critical cases when necessary
- Ensure timely follow-up and quality handling of all cases
- Assign cases based on complexity, experience, and workload balance
- Monitor documentation, reporting, and adherence to SOPs
- Conduct case audits and ensure compliance with protection standards
- Support psychosocial care and basic counselling guidance
- Identify protection trends and contribute to monthly reports
- Coordinate with service providers and maintain referral pathways
- Promote a positive team environment and staff well-being
🎓
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in protection or case management
- At least 2 years in a supervisory/team leadership role
- Experience in humanitarian settings is highly desirable

Professional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of case management SOPs and inter-agency guidelines
- Experience in case audits, conferences, and reporting
- Ability to provide psychosocial support and staff coaching
- Knowledge of referral systems and service mapping
- Proficiency in case management systems and data analysis
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet)

Languages
- Fluency in English required
- Knowledge of Hausa and Kanuri is an added advantage
