Working closely with governments, donors, and implementing partners, the organisation focuses on evidence-based, scalable, and sustainable interventions aimed at improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations across Africa.
Malaria Consortium Nigeria is currently recruiting qualified professionals for multiple positions across different states including Abuja, Borno, Kogi, and FCT. These roles support malaria elimination programmes, health systems strengthening, digital health innovation, monitoring and evaluation, finance management, and supply chain coordination.
1. Technical Specialist (GF) – Abuja
The Technical Specialist provides strategic technical leadership for Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) and related malaria interventions. The role ensures effective planning, implementation, and quality assurance of malaria control activities, including microplanning, training, logistics, social behaviour change communication, and drug distribution.
The officer supports capacity development, technical guidance, and coordination with national and state teams, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and global best practices. The role also involves reviewing programme strategies, strengthening cost-effectiveness, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across malaria interventions.
2. Finance Assistant – Borno, Kogi, and FCT Abuja
The Finance Assistant provides essential financial and administrative support to field and country offices. The role ensures accurate documentation, processing of payments, maintenance of financial records, and adherence to organisational financial procedures.
Key responsibilities include preparing payment vouchers, reconciling financial data, maintaining databases, processing staff and vendor payments, and supporting audits and reporting. The officer also ensures proper filing systems, compliance with financial guidelines, and coordination with project and operations teams.
3. State Campaign Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer – Borno
The State Campaign M&E Officer serves as the primary focal person for monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities for malaria campaigns, particularly ITN and SMC programmes.
The role includes data validation, database management, supportive supervision, coordination of health information systems, and performance monitoring. The officer ensures timely and high-quality data for decision-making, supports surveys and evaluations, and strengthens health management information systems in collaboration with government and partners.
The role also promotes accountability, knowledge management, and learning through feedback systems, documentation of lessons learned, and dissemination of best practices.
4. State Campaign Digital Health Officer – Borno, Kogi, and FCT
The Digital Health Officer supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of digital health solutions for malaria surveillance and programme delivery.
The role includes conducting digital health assessments, strengthening health information systems, supporting integration with national platforms, and providing technical capacity building to government stakeholders. The officer ensures effective use of digital tools for data collection, analysis, and programme decision-making.
5. State Campaign Administration Officer – Borno and Kogi
The Administrative Officer provides operational and logistical support to state offices. Responsibilities include office management, asset tracking, procurement support, filing systems, and coordination of logistics for programme activities.
The officer ensures smooth office operations, maintains vendor and consultant databases, and supports staff in planning and implementing field activities.
6. State Campaign Finance Officer – Multiple States
The Finance Officer manages financial transactions at state level, ensuring compliance with Malaria Consortium financial policies. Responsibilities include invoice processing, bank reconciliation, petty cash management, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
The officer works closely with programme teams to ensure accountability, transparency, and proper utilisation of project funds.
7. State Campaign SBC & External Communication Advisor – Borno, Kogi, and FCT
The SBC and External Communication Advisor leads behaviour change communication, advocacy, and external engagement activities. The role focuses on strengthening public health communication strategies, knowledge management, and visibility of malaria programmes.
The officer works with government, donors, and partners to ensure effective dissemination of health information and alignment with programme goals.
8. Health Systems Country Supply Chain Manager – Abuja
The Supply Chain Manager oversees procurement, distribution, and inventory management of health commodities across Nigeria. The role ensures availability of malaria commodities, prevents stock-outs, and maintains compliance with procurement regulations.
The officer also coordinates with national regulatory bodies, donors, and partners to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
