Talent Lab Limited, a reputable recruiting firm, is currently hiring on behalf of its client for the position of Operations Assistant in Abuja, Nigeria.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience in operations, finance, grants management, and logistics coordination, looking to grow within a structured and impact-driven environment.
Job Summary
The Operations Assistant will support the efficient execution of project activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, proper financial tracking, and smooth coordination of logistics and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Budget Tracking
- Support monitoring of project budgets, disbursements, and operational expenses
- Ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting
Compliance & Audit Support
- Assist in audit processes, including documentation and reporting
- Coordinate compliance activities and ensure adherence to policies
Procurement & Grants Management
- Track procurement requests, invoices, and payments
- Maintain grant trackers and follow up on project milestones
Logistics & Coordination
- Manage travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, transportation)
- Support coordination of project activities and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Public Health, Management, Social Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 1–2 years relevant experience in operations, administration, or finance
- Experience in budget tracking, compliance, and audit processes
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
