About the Humairah Initiative
The Humairah Initiative for Girls and Women Development is a grassroots-driven non-governmental organization dedicated to dismantling the barriers that hinder the progress of females in our society. Our mission is built on the pillars of advocacy, education, economic empowerment, and health awareness. We believe that when you empower a girl, you transform a community. To scale our impact and reach more underserved regions across the country, we are looking for passionate, dedicated, and visionary individuals to join our 2026 volunteer cohort.

Available Volunteer Positions
We are seeking volunteers to fill the following strategic roles:
1. Project Manager: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of high-impact community projects.
2. Girls/Women Project Coordinator: Design and implement specialized interventions tailored to the needs of local female populations.
3. Programme Officer: Assist in the day-to-day administration of organizational activities and strategic program design.
4. Girls/Women Development Officer: Focus on capacity-building sessions, vocational training, and mentorship programs.
5. Fundraising Campaigner: Lead resource mobilization efforts to ensure the sustainability of our community interventions.
6. Community Outreach Assistant: Serve as the frontline liaison between the initiative and the rural/urban communities we serve.
7. Social Media Ambassador: Manage our digital footprint, create awareness, and advocate for girls’ rights across various online platforms.
Who Should Apply?
This call is open to individuals from all academic backgrounds. Whether you hold an OND, NCE, Diploma, HND, or a Degree, what matters most is your commitment to social justice and gender equality. We welcome students, recent graduates, and working professionals who want to give back to society.
