A leading pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join their team in Kano State. Location & Work Details
- Location: Kano
- Salary: ₦120,000 monthly
- Work Days/Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Summary
The Logistics Officer will play a critical role in coordinating deliveries, managing dispatch operations, and supporting overall logistics and inventory activities. The successful candidate will ensure that all pharmaceutical products are handled properly, distributed on time, and accurately documented, while maintaining effective communication with internal teams, drivers, and external vendors. This position requires someone who is reliable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the dispatch and delivery of products to various locations
- Track shipments to ensure timely and accurate distribution
- Maintain detailed records of all logistics operations and deliveries
- Assist with inventory management and stock control to avoid discrepancies
- Liaise effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure proper handling and compliance with pharmaceutical storage and transportation standards
Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1–3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles
- Strong communication, record-keeping, and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Must be a resident of Kano State
- Male candidates preferred
