Graft Africa is recruiting for the position of Programs and Operations Associate for a Nigeria based role. This is a full time permanent position with a remote work structure and preference for candidates located in Lagos or Abuja.
Graft Africa is an impact focused organization working to transform agri food systems across West Africa by connecting farmers youth innovators and policymakers. The organization focuses on research program design stakeholder engagement and advisory services aimed at building resilient inclusive and climate smart food systems.
The Programs and Operations Associate will support a wide range of activities including program design research analysis stakeholder engagement and grant development. The role involves assisting with project planning concept notes budgets and timelines while tracking deliverables and supporting monitoring and evaluation activities. The candidate will also conduct research on agriculture climate adaptation and livelihoods and contribute to reports presentations and strategy documents.
Additional responsibilities include supporting grant research proposal writing and donor reporting as well as maintaining organized records and assisting with internal operations and coordination. The role also requires engaging with partners farmers cooperatives and other stakeholders while supporting meetings workshops and consultations.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences Economics Food Systems International Development Environmental Studies or a related field with one to three years of relevant experience. Strong analytical writing and organizational skills are essential along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in English is required while knowledge of French is an added advantage.
The monthly salary for this role is 350000 naira along with health insurance paid leave professional development opportunities and other benefits.
