ABOUT RACHAM EMPOWERMENT AND HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION

Racham Empowerment and Humanitarian Foundation REHF is a non-governmental, non-profit, faith-inspired humanitarian organisation committed to empowering vulnerable and underserved populations across Nigeria.

The organisation focuses on supporting orphans, widows, vulnerable children, women, and indigent communities through humanitarian assistance, empowerment initiatives, and community-focused interventions.

REHF is currently recruiting for Program Officer and Grant Officer positions and is seeking qualified and committed individuals who can contribute to its humanitarian and development activities across Nigeria.

1. PROGRAM OFFICER

The Program Officer is expected to support the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of programmes and projects carried out by the organisation.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Support the planning and implementation of organisational programmes and humanitarian projects.
2. Coordinate programme activities and ensure that activities are implemented effectively and according to approved plans.
3. Support engagement with beneficiaries, communities, partners, stakeholders, and relevant authorities.
4. Assist with programme monitoring, documentation, reporting, and follow-up activities.
5. Support the collection and documentation of programme information and field activities.
6. Contribute to identifying community needs and supporting appropriate humanitarian and empowerment interventions.
7. Maintain accurate programme records and documentation.
8. Support the preparation of programme reports and other project-related documents.
9. Participate in meetings, field activities, community engagements, and other programme events as required.
10. Support other programme-related duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants may possess relevant qualifications in a related field.

Candidates should demonstrate an interest in humanitarian work, community development, programme implementation, or related areas.

Good communication, organisational, coordination, and reporting skills are desirable.

Ability to work effectively with vulnerable communities and different stakeholders is an advantage.

2. GRANT OFFICER

The Grant Officer will support activities related to grants, funding opportunities, proposal development, donor engagement, grant documentation, and compliance.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Support the identification and tracking of relevant grant and funding opportunities.
2. Assist with the preparation of grant applications, concept notes, proposals, and related documents.
3. Support the organisation in maintaining a pipeline of potential funding opportunities.
4. Assist with grant documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
5. Support the coordination of grant-related information and deadlines.
6. Assist with monitoring grant requirements, deliverables, and compliance obligations.
7. Support the preparation of donor reports and other funding-related documents.
8. Conduct research on relevant humanitarian, development, and empowerment funding opportunities.
9. Support communication and coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
10. Perform other grant-related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants may possess relevant qualifications in a related field.

Candidates with an interest or experience in grants, fundraising, proposal development, development programmes, humanitarian work, or related areas may be suitable for the role.

Strong written communication, research, organisational, and documentation skills are desirable.

Experience working with NGOs, humanitarian organisations, development organisations, or community-based initiatives may be an advantage.

The vacancies are open to applicants across Nigeria.
