Position Overview
- Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
- Start Date: 1 June 2026
- Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term (French legislation)
- Field Locations: Borno State, Sokoto State, Yobe State

Mission Summary
Reporting to the Country Director, you will lead and coordinate all logistics operations at the national level to ensure efficient support to humanitarian programmes. This includes overseeing procurement, transport, safety policies, and logistics strategy while managing a large, multi-location team.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Country Office strategy and logistics planning
- Coordinate national logistics operations and international transport
- Ensure effective implementation of safety and security policies
- Supervise and support logistics teams (approx. 71 staff members)
- Promote coordination with partners and stakeholders
- Prevent and manage risks related to fraud and corruption
- Provide advisory support on logistics systems and procurement plans
- Monitor trends and continuously improve logistics processes
🎓
Profile & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Logistics or related field
- Minimum 3+ years experience in humanitarian logistics
- Strong understanding of NGO operations and humanitarian principles
- Knowledge of local and international procurement policies
- Experience with ACF is an advantage
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Salary & Benefits
- Monthly gross salary: €2,597 – €2,968 (depending on experience)
- Additional 13th month salary
- $838 monthly per diem + €150 country allowance
- Pension contribution reimbursement (16%)
- Annual salary increase (6% after 12 months)
- Full medical and repatriation insurance (including dependents)
- Accommodation and transportation covered
- Generous leave: 25 paid leave days + 20 R&R days annually
- Child allowance: up to €6,000/year
