Ipsos Nigeria is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of State Coordinator on a project-based engagement. The role is designed for individuals with strong backgrounds in public affairs, social research studies, field coordination, or data collection operations.

Role Overview

The State Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing field data collection activities within an assigned state. The role involves ensuring that all field operations are executed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with project objectives, methodologies, and ethical standards. The coordinator will report directly to the National Field Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

The State Coordinator will:

  • Lead, supervise, and manage field teams across the assigned location.
  • Coordinate and monitor data collection activities to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project protocols, methodologies, and ethical research standards.
  • Provide real-time operational support, guidance, and troubleshooting to field staff.
  • Monitor field team performance and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables.
  • Escalate field challenges promptly and apply problem-solving skills to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in field coordination, data collection, training field teams, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in using data collection platforms and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality data under tight deadlines and challenging field conditions.
