INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR INTERNSHIP POSITIONS
The Management of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, Nasarawa State, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the 2026 internship session. This recruitment is open to graduates of various medical and health-related disciplines who are seeking professional training in a clinical environment.
AVAILABLE INTERNSHIP CATEGORIES
1. Intern Pharmacists (CONHESS 08)
Requirement: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree and provisional registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
2. Intern Medical Laboratory Scientists (CONHESS 08)
Requirement: Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) degree and provisional registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
3. Intern Nurses (CONHESS 08)
Requirement: Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc) degree and provisional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
4. Intern Radiographers (CONHESS 08)
Requirement: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Radiography and provisional registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
5. Intern Dental Therapists (CONHESS 07)
Requirement: Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Dental Therapy and provisional registration with the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN).
6. Intern Dental Technologists (CONHESS 07/08)
Requirement: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), HND, or equivalent and provisional registration with the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN).
7. Intern Optometrists (CONHESS 09)
Requirement: Doctor of Optometry degree and provisional registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN).
8. Intern Physiotherapists (CONHESS 08)
Requirement: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physiotherapy or its equivalent and provisional registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB).
SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES
The salary and allowances for each category will be in accordance with the Public Health Sector Salary Structure (CONHESS) as applicable to federal tertiary health institutions.
