OPAY is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Field Collection Officer across Nigeria.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidates will manage overdue loan accounts, conduct field visits, negotiate repayment plans and recover outstanding loans while maintaining professional and ethical relationships with customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visit customers’ residential and business locations to follow up on overdue loans.
• Negotiate realistic repayment plans and debt settlements.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly recovery targets.
• Follow up on delinquent accounts through phone calls, text messages and emails.
• Maintain accurate records of field visits, customer interactions and recoveries.
• Conduct address verification and field investigations when required.
• Comply with regulatory guidelines, credit policies and ethical debt collection practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in debt collection, field recovery, loan marketing or customer service.
• Experience in a microfinance bank or fintech lending company is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local routes, commercial centres and communities within the assigned location.
