Schrödinger Technologie LTD is conducting a comprehensive market research study aimed at understanding and addressing critical water access, sanitation and water supply challenges across selected states in Nigeria.
As part of this research initiative, the organisation is recruiting dedicated Field Research Volunteers to conduct field interviews and collect reliable data from communities.
The information collected by volunteers will contribute to data-driven solutions and interventions aimed at addressing water access and sanitation challenges and improving understanding of the experiences of communities affected by the water crisis.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Field Research Volunteers will support the research team by conducting field surveys and interviews within assigned locations.
Volunteers will play an important role in gathering accurate field information that can help researchers better understand water-related challenges and inform practical solutions.
This opportunity is suitable for individuals interested in research, data collection, community engagement, development work and gaining practical field experience.

- Abuja
- Borno State
- Enugu State
- Kano State
- Lagos State
- Rivers State, including Port Harcourt
KEY DATES
Virtual Orientation: 8 September 2026 at 2:00 PM
Fieldwork Dates: 9 September – 11 September 2026
TARGET
Each volunteer is expected to complete 30 field surveys.
Fieldwork stipend will be provided.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Have a functional smartphone running Android or iOS, or a laptop.
- Have reliable battery life and an active internet connection to support field data collection.
- Reside in an urban or semi-urban area within one of the selected states.
- Be fully available for the virtual orientation and all scheduled fieldwork dates.
- Be willing and able to conduct field interviews and collect data from respondents.
- Be committed to accurate and responsible data collection.
- Be able to follow research instructions and approved data collection procedures.
- Be willing to participate actively throughout the fieldwork period.
