Job Title:
Data Entry Officer
Reports To: Lead, Onboarding
Job Purpose
The Data Entry Officer ensures accurate entry and maintenance of customer accounts, product catalogues, inventory records, and pricing data within the Moniebook platform.
You will work closely with onboarding and account teams to maintain clean, reliable data—enabling smooth onboarding, accurate reporting, and a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Entry & Record Management
- Input and update merchant data (products, SKUs, pricing, inventory, customer profiles)
- Process bulk uploads via Excel/CSV files
- Maintain data standards and naming conventions
2. Onboarding Data Support
- Prepare merchant accounts before onboarding
- Review submitted templates for errors or missing fields
- Assist with catalogue setup, tax configurations, and payment settings
3. Data Validation & Quality Assurance
- Identify and correct errors, duplicates, and outdated records
- Cross-check data across CRM, POS, and spreadsheets
- Flag and report anomalies
4. Process & Documentation
- Maintain logs of data entry activities and corrections
- Document recurring issues and solutions
- Recommend workflow improvements
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support onboarding, account, and support teams with data requests
- Coordinate internally to resolve missing data quickly
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years experience in data entry or data operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Familiarity with CRM or POS tools
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Preferred
- Experience with CSV imports and data migration
- Knowledge of retail or inventory systems
- Experience supporting onboarding or customer success teams
- Must be based in Oyo State or Ogun State
