Connected Development (CODE) Recruitment 2026: State Field Officers – Sokoto (STRACE Project)
Connected Development (CODE), a leading civil society organization committed to improving governance and service delivery in Africa, is currently inviting applications for the position of State Field Officers in Sokoto State under its STRACE Project (Sokoto Tracking and Accountability for Equitable Immunization).
This initiative is focused on strengthening accountability systems and ensuring equitable access to immunization services, particularly for underserved and vulnerable communities. Through this project, CODE works closely with community stakeholders, health workers, and government institutions to improve immunization outcomes and promote transparency in healthcare delivery.
Role Overview
The State Field Officers will play a critical role in implementing project activities at the grassroots level. They will engage directly with communities, monitor immunization efforts, and support initiatives aimed at improving access to life-saving vaccines for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with community leaders, health workers, and local stakeholders
- Monitor and track immunization activities across assigned areas
- Facilitate community engagement and awareness campaigns
- Support data collection, reporting, and accountability mechanisms
- Ensure alignment with project goals and organizational standards
Eligibility Criteria
- Strong familiarity with Sokoto State and its local communities
- Experience in community engagement, public health, or development work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for improving healthcare access and child welfare
