📢 Call for Trainers – Digital Skills Development Programme (Cohort II) 2026 | Abuja
The Women Environmental Programme (WEP) is inviting applications from qualified and passionate ICT trainers to facilitate its 3-month Digital Skills Development Programme under the WomenPower2030: Feminist Accelerate Action for Sustainable Development project.
The programme will take place in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, and aims to empower young girls, women, and persons with disabilities by equipping them with practical digital skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and advocacy in today’s digital economy.
Training Areas:
WEP is seeking trainers capable of delivering hands-on sessions in one or more of the following areas:
- Office Suite Essentials
- Graphic Design (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva)
- Video Editing (CapCut, Filmora, or similar tools)
- UI/UX Design (Figma)
- Web Development (WordPress CMS)
Trainer Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and beginner-friendly training sessions
- Develop lesson plans, practical activities, and evaluation tools
- Provide mentorship and hands-on support to participants
- Monitor and report participant progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with the WEP team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Degree, diploma, or certification in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in digital skills training or facilitation
- Strong proficiency in relevant tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with women, youth, or persons with disabilities is an added advantage
- Must be based in Abuja and available physically throughout the programme
