Call for Participants: Global Youth Consultations for Ages 18–35
This is an opportunity for young people who are passionate about shaping a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future. They can contribute their ideas and lived experiences to a global policy process.
SDSN Youth, in partnership with the Ford Foundation, is inviting young people from around the world to take part in “A Youth Vision for the World’s Future.” This is a global initiative designed to elevate youth perspectives on key global issues. These issues include gender equality, climate change, and the future of work.
Selected participants will join regional consultations taking place between March and May 2026. These consultations will create a platform for meaningful dialogue among young people from different regions and backgrounds. In addition, the outcomes of these discussions will be compiled into a global synthesis brief with practical and actionable recommendations. SDSN Youth will present these recommendations to United Nations Member States. Also, they will present them to other influential decision makers at major international and multilateral forums.
Consultation themes and timeline
Gender Equality will take place in March 2026
Climate Change will take place in April 2026
Future of Work will take place in May 2026
Young people between the ages of 18 and 35 from diverse social, professional, and cultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants are advised to select the consultation theme that best aligns with their interests and experience. In addition, they should select the issues they are most passionate about contributing to.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Application forms will close one week before the start of each thematic consultation. Alternatively, they will close earlier if the available spaces are filled. Early application is strongly encouraged to increase the chances of being selected.
