 Program Overview 

The Youth of Enterprise (YOE) Internship Programme, an initiative of EnterpriseNGR founded in 2022, is dedicated to driving human capital development in Nigeria. YOE aims to tackle the prevalent challenges of youth unemployment and underemployment by recruiting, upskilling, and placing deserving young university graduates in paid, six-month-long, high-value internships with prestigious partnering organizations across the country.

The YOE Programme is meticulously designed to transform participants into “star candidates” for Nigeria’s labor force by providing:

•  Employability Skills: Comprehensive training to enhance job readiness.

•  On-the-Job Training: First-hand experience in real-world corporate environments.

•  Mentorship: Guidance and support from industry professionals.

•  Zero Cost: All training and placement services are provided at no cost to the interns.

 Our Mission and Impact 

YOE’s mission is to democratize access to decent and globally relevant work experience among Nigerian youths, thereby driving an empowered and skilled workforce to end poverty and foster a sustainable economy. The program has already attracted over 73,000 applicants, trained, and placed over 1,300 quality talents. Notably, 54% of YOE participants are female, and 20% are from underrepresented regions, promoting significant inclusion. With over 32 industry-leading employer partners, YOE is effectively bridging the skills gap identified in the Nigerian labor market through its resourceful Learning Management System (LMS).

Eligibility Criteria:

•  Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen.

•  Education: Must be a graduate of a Nigerian university.

•  Age: Must be between 18 and 26 years old.

•  Academic Standing: Must have a minimum of a Second Class Lower (2:2) degree.

•  NYSC Status: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

•  Residency: Must be currently residing in Nigeria.
