ABOUT WATerAID

WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization working to make clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene accessible to everyone, everywhere.

WaterAid Nigeria is implementing its 2023 to 2028 country programme strategy, focused on universal access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene services and climate-resilient WASH.

JOB PURPOSE

The Business Development and Partnerships Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Head of Business Development and Partnerships.

The role will support meetings, bid development, fundraising initiatives, report drafting, fundraising opportunity mapping, grants management, and other departmental processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the organization and coordination of meetings and other departmental activities.

Assist with bid development and fundraising initiatives.

Support the preparation and drafting of reports on key departmental activities.

Assist with mapping and analysis of fundraising opportunities.

Provide administrative and operational support for fundraising, bid development, and grants management processes.

Support relevant documentation, coordination, and follow-up activities.

Handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality.

Work in line with WaterAid policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Contribute to the delivery of WaterAid Nigeria’s programme objectives and partnership activities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently, use initiative, exercise sound judgment, and handle non-routine situations professionally.
