Applications are now open for the Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship 2026, an exceptional opportunity for young leaders worldwide who are actively working to address climate change and environmental challenges. This initiative is offered by the Audi Environmental Foundation in partnership with One Young World.
About the Scholarship
The Audi Environmental Foundation was established in 2009 by AUDI AG to support innovative technologies, environmental education, and sustainable practices. Its mission is to contribute to environmental protection and promote solutions that ensure a livable future for people, animals, and ecosystems.
Through this collaboration, 10 outstanding young leaders will be selected to attend the One Young World Summit 2026, taking place in Cape Town from 3–6 November 2026.
Focus Areas
The scholarship targets individuals making impactful contributions in areas such as:
•Developing innovative technologies to reduce pollution and combat climate change
•Promoting climate education and awareness
•Advocating for climate justice and equity
•Empowering vulnerable communities to build resilience
•Protecting ecosystems, including efforts to combat land degradation and restore marine environments
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
•Be aged 18–30 years (exceptions may be considered for those above 30 with strong impact)
•Be nationals of any country
•Demonstrate leadership capacity and initiative
•Show a strong understanding of local and global environmental issues
•Have a proven track record of innovative and impactful solutions
•Be available to participate in person at the Summit (1–7 November 2026) in Cape Town
Scholarship Benefits
Selected Audi Environmental Foundation Scholars will receive:
•Full access to the One Young World Summit 2026
•Hotel accommodation in Cape Town (1–7 November 2026)
•Round-trip economy flights to and from South Africa
•Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the Summit)
•Transportation between accommodation and the Summit venue
•Exclusive participation in a pre-programme hosted by the Audi Environmental Foundation on 2 November
