Applications are open for the Athena Anchoria Junior Fellowship Programme 2026.
The fellowship is hosted by the Athena Centre for Policy and Leadership in partnership with Anchoria Advisory. The six month programme is designed to prepare young Nigerians for meaningful engagement in public policy, governance and institutional development.
The fellowship will run from April to October 2026 and will select 12 fellows. Participants will take part in structured learning and practical experiences aimed at strengthening their understanding of policy processes and governance systems in Nigeria.
The programme includes seminars on policy and institutional analysis, supervised research placements, and mentorship in policy writing and editorial development. Fellows will also participate in a residential immersion programme in Abuja and receive applied training in financial literacy and investment.
The fellowship is open to final year undergraduate students, master’s students and members of the National Youth Service Corps who are interested in building careers in public policy, governance and research.
