The African Leadership Centre (ALC), in partnership with King’s College London, is offering fully funded and partially funded fellowships for 2026/2027 in:

🧭 Types of Fellowships (Choose ONE)

1️⃣ 🏆 Fully Funded Fellowship (Best Option)

Fellowships for African Scholars (Degree Award)

✔ Includes:

• Master’s at King’s College London
• Mentorship + training
• 6-month placement in Africa
• Tuition, travel, accommodation covered

❗ You pay: Visa costs only

👤 Best for:

• Graduates or young professionals in Africa
• Strong interest in policy, research, leadership

2️⃣ 👩🏽 Sudanese Women Fellowship (Special Track)

• Non-degree programme (based in Nairobi)
• For Sudanese women working in peacebuilding

📅 Deadline: 24 May 2026

3️⃣ 💸 Partial Funding (African Students)

Associate Fellowship Bursary

✔ Covers:

• 25% tuition
• £5,000 living support

👤 For:

• Africans applying for MSc Global Leadership & Peacebuilding

4️⃣ 🌍 Global South Bursary

Same as #3 but open to all Global South countries (not just Africa)

📌 Important Application Steps (VERY IMPORTANT)

For most programmes (especially #1 & #3):

You must apply in TWO places:

1. Apply via King’s College London
   • Select: “Peace & Security Fellowship”
   • ❌ Do NOT select MSc directly
2. Apply separately on ALC Nairobi portal

👉 Missing one = application invalid

🎯 Who Should Apply?

You’re a strong candidate if you:

• Are African (especially for the fully funded track)
• Have a degree or are finishing one
• Care about:
  • Leadership
  • Peacebuilding
  • Security / policy / development
• Want international exposure + impact career

💡 Honest Advice (Important)

• The fully funded fellowship (#1) is highly competitive, but worth applying if you meet basic criteria
• If funding is an issue, avoid relying only on the partial bursary options (#3 & #4) unless you can support the remaining costs
