The Youth Climate Justice Fund is now accepting applications for its 2024 grant cycle! They provide flexible funding to emerging youth-led groups driving climate justice initiatives. In 2023, we supported over 50 groups globally with $700,000 in funding. This year, eligible local and national groups can apply for grants up to $20,000 from June 3rd to July 1st.
The Youth Climate Justice Fund is now accepting applications for its 2024 grant cycle! We provide flexible funding to emerging youth-led groups driving climate justice initiatives. In 2023, we supported over 50 groups globally with $700,000 in funding. This year, eligible local and national groups can apply for grants up to $20,000 from June 3rd to July 1st. To be considered, your group must:
– Be led by young people (aged 35 or below)
– Be based in one of the eligible regions (East Asia, Pacific, Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, South Asia, Europe, Central Asia, or North America)
– Focus on community-based work (not solely international engagements)
– Embody inclusive organizing, collective action, and intersectional movement building
– Be non-partisan, non-violent, and legal
If your group meets these criteria, apply in your preferred language (Arabic, English, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, or Swahili) by July 1st, 23:59 UTC.
