This full-time role is based in Bwari and Kuje (Abuja), Nigeria, and is ideal for individuals with strong sales, communication, and relationship management skills. The position involves working closely with clients to facilitate loan processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving set performance targets.
The Credit Officer will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new loan customers, evaluating creditworthiness, processing loan applications, and disbursing loans accordingly. The role also requires active monitoring of loan repayments, following up on outstanding debts, and ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets are met.
In addition, the successful candidate will maintain accurate records of client transactions, build and sustain strong client relationships, and conduct field visits for customer verification and loan recovery activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new loan customers
- Evaluate creditworthiness and process loan applications
- Disburse loans in line with company policies
- Monitor repayments and follow up on outstanding debts
- Meet assigned recovery targets
- Maintain accurate client records
- Conduct field visits for verification and recovery
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND qualification (HND/BSc is an added advantage)
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
- Familiarity with Bwari or Kuje environment is required
Salary: ₦130,000 monthly
